DeFazio Industries to Represent CerroWire
DeFazio Industries is proud to announce that beginning January 1, 2019, the company will represent Cerro Wire LLC in the Virginia territory. “Cerro Wire is one of the premiere copper building wire manufacturers in our industry and we’re proud to have been selected as their Virginia representative,” states Rick DeFazio.
Cerro Wire was founded in 1920 as the Circle Flexible Conduit Company manufacturing armored cable and steel flexible conduit. The 1930s to 1950s saw product expansion and a name change from Circle Wire & Cable to Cerro Wire & Cable Company. In 1976, the Marmon Group acquired Cerro and later moved the company’s headquarters to Hartselle, Alabama. In 2008, Berkshire Hathaway Inc acquired a majority interest in the Marmon Group, further solidifying Cerro Wire’s future in the building wire industry for years to come. Recent innovative additions to the Cerro product line include the Reel Rover, CerroMax NMB, SLiPWire technology, and True Sequential Footage.
“Everyone in our organization is grateful to our manufacturers who believe in us, and our customers who support us, as we begin our fourth year of operations,” states Rick DeFazio. “We strive for excellence in everything we do through a combination of yesterday’s experience, today’s technology and tomorrow’s team.”
