Rick DeFazio’s father founded Electric Sales Unlimited in January 1976. Rick DeFazio joined ESU after receiving his MBA from Pepperdine University and his BSBA from the University of Phoenix. Rick completed his Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR®) course in 1995. Rick worked for ESU from 1990 through 2004, in capacities ranging from warehouse, inside sales, outside sales and part of the management team. From 2005 through 2015, Rick was a principal and shareholder with Brazill Brothers & Associates in the New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC territories. Forty years to the day after his father founded ESU, DeFazio Industries was formed in January 2016 covering the Mid-Atlantic region.
Anthony DeFazio began his electrical career working for Brazill Brothers & Associates in a part-time role as one of the company’s initial CRM administrators. His responsibilities included developing standards for effective database management, quotations/lead tracking, and spearheading a digital marketing program. Anthony has served in both Inside Sales and Outside Sales roles, and currently manages field sales for the company in eastern Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Anthony has completed the three-year Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative Program (CPMR®) program and received his certification in 2019.
Originally from rural Colorado, Brian moved to the Washington, DC area in 2013 to attend Patrick Henry College in Northern Virginia. Currently serving in an Inside Sales role, Brian’s strong attention to detail and expert knowledge of CRM systems make him an invaluable customer service asset.
Dave Rowland moved to Northern Virginia from the Columbus, Ohio area in 2014 to attend Patrick Henry College and received his B.A. in 2019. Currently serving as an Inside Sales Representative, Dave is very skilled at processing quotations and purchase orders rapidly, and ensures that general customer requests are addressed in a timely manner.
Max Crawley joined DeFazio Industries after attending college at UNC Charlotte, and currently serves as an Outside Sales Representative. His territory includes Greensboro, Charlotte, Greenville, and Columbia. Before returning to his hometown of Charlotte, Max lived in Virginia while performing Inside Sales duties for DeFazio Industries.
Born and raised in Southern California, Alan Iiyama relocated to Richmond, Virginia in 2020 to join DeFazio Industries in an Inside Sales capacity. Alan previously worked as a sales and marketing professional for a Virginia-based nonprofit organization.

Michael DeFazio began his electrical career working for Brazill Brothers & Associates in a part-time role as one of the company’s initial CRM Administrators. His responsibilities included developing standards for database management, cross-referencing accounts between a myriad of manufacturers, and developing standard work for project management, quotations management, the integration of social media, and email marketing campaigns. Michael currently works in an Outside Sales capacity, focusing on the Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia territories. Michael has completed the three-year Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative Program (CPMR®) program and received his certification in 2019.

Over the past several decades, ESU has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers representative firms in America – covering Arizona, California, and Nevada. Rick DeFazio worked at ESU from 1989 through 2004, serving in various positions. In 2005, Rick moved east and joined Brazill Brothers & Associates as a shareholder and Sales Manager. In 2016, Rick sold his interest in the company and founded DeFazio Industries.
The DeFazio third generation includes Anthony and Michael DeFazio, who began their careers in part-time roles as CRM Administrators at Brazill Brothers & Associates. Their responsibilities included developing standards for effective database management, quotations and lead tracking, and spearheading a digital marketing program.
Since DeFazio Industries was formed, Anthony and Michael have served as Inside Sales Representatives and Account Managers, bringing years of experience in automation and customer relationship management to the company. Anthony and Michael have also received their Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR®) certifications.
